Looking for a little help. I’ve been searching for trainers that are compatible with Zwift and I am looking to pull the trigger on Elite Turbo Muin Smart B+ mainly because I like the fact that it is a direct connect and that it’s a smart trainer. I found the trainer for $435 dollars but the only issue is I cannot find any reviews on this specific model. I’ve read other reviews that other Elite trainers aren’t the greatest when it comes to resistance. Does anyone have this model and are you happy with it?
I’m also shopping for an Elite Turbo trainer, that one is on my list.
From what I’ve found, that’s just an Elite Turbo Muin with the Misuro B+ sensor included. From a feedback perspective, anything about the Elite Turbo Muin should apply. They’re quiet units.
There are 2 different models out there and the only way to differentiate them is by the serial number. Units with a SN > 30,000 have a small red cover at the bottom of the fan unit which hides the B+ sensor. Units with a SN < 30,000 get the sensor velcro’d to the side of the unit.
Most vendors have no clue which version they’re stocking. I know that Nashbar has all of the old units. I’d like a good deal on the new unit, with the red cover.
