Hey guys! Will everyone be up there?
Actually, only Richie will be up there. David is away in Germany doing some research and development at the Cologne Institute.
Take it easy on him up there
Man, I want one of those new carbon ones. Those things rule.
What is David up to?
He has been attending conferences all week with members of the Cologne Sport Institute. They have been discussing the latest thinking in fit and power and backing it up with solid mathematics. I believe that David has been teaching them a thing or two. He likes to stay up to date with his fitting process. One of those life long learners.
I agree the Razor Carbon will be my next bike for sure. Good to see that David is not resting on his laurels and continuously seeks new information and ideas. It will be interesting to find out the German secrets if he tells us.

Me, too. Except waiting 8-10 weeks (which means more like 12+ in the real world after fitting, etc) is just way too long. Otherwise I’d be on it right now.
I don’t think is is always so long, a friend of mine got his Razor in 6 weeks time including build time and final fit. I think it depends on how busy they are and if there are any hick-ups. I think the 8-10 weeks is an insurance of time in case there are any unforeseen troubles with supplies and what not. Elite makes great bikes, you should not limit yourself because of a few weeks (IMO)

A few weeks is the difference between my last two A races this season and next year. Might as well wait until next year. Or, hello Litespeed!

So let David or Eric know and see if they can help you out. They are very easy to talk with. FWIW, I finalized my order on my custom Joule Pro on about July10th or so and should have it within two weeks of today. I didn’t really prod them too much either.
Do you guys fit in your HQs? I’m looking at a buy in the offseason and would like to go home for a visit (Bucks Co.). I’d love to kill two birds with one stone.
Cool. I just moved to MD so one of these days I’m going to git me over to philly and check you guys out. I can’t afford a bike now, but when I finish my program I think I’m going to splurge, maybe get a tclass or something. I’ll see.
Dave does the fittings in their spacious headquarters on South Street.
Order in the off season. I got measured for my ohh-so-sweet Razor in mid-February and it was ready the first week of April. The paint even added a week since it was a color their paint shop hadn’t done before.
Pumkin!!!
.
Richie was great. he helped me out on my bike…
however…you guys might want to send him up with a banner or something next time. he helped me bc i went to Ian from Fitwerx and he said Richie could help. but i only heard Richie was from Elite from Sarah (sp?) and from him handing me his card.
be Proud and LOUD! Elite has a great name out there!
oh, and thanks Richie for fixing my bike. no problems other than the engine!
