Hello. We are looking for an electric trike for adults specially for my husband and adult son to use together. I would prefer a trike where both can pedal and not have to balance. But a trike bike that self balances would work too. Does anyone know of a solution?

Responding to note that this is a forum for the sport of triathlon (swim, bike, run), so you may not get many useful responses about the electric tricycle for adults! But it sounds like a cool concept.

They totally make what you are looking for and even as a lifelong cyclist, I had to admit it was fun. Shortly after moving back to Utah, I was riding through a random semi-industrial area and saw a sign for Utah Trikes. They have a great website. They let me take a trike out and zoom around the parking lot. I was hoping to convince my wife to come and ride with me a bit. She has rented an electric bike a couple of times and done hard rides with me but inevitably she yells at me because her butt hurts. A trike would alleviate most of the problems typical newbies cite as why they don’t ride. You can buy them with Bosch or Shimano motors that would be a great assist.
Even if you don’t go to Utah Trikes, their website has a lot of information.
