Drugs that can cause a multi-day trip?

You’re spot on about the liquid lsd, but absolutely daft when it comes to MDMA. The molecular structure isn’t even in the same ballpark as heroin. Its an amphetamine, not an opiate.

Anything longer than 1-2 days could mean the person had taken a large dose of DOM or DOB http://www.erowid.org/library/books_online/pihkal/pihkal062.shtml
More than likely it was a good strong dose of acid, maybe with some stimulants thrown in. The serotonin imbalance will definitely leave you feeling wonky for a couple of days.

Couldn’t help but notice that most of the detailed responses were from folks in California…just saying.

Hope she is ok!

some of the drugs she could have taken, like ecstasy or some form of speed, could be messing with her sleep to the point where the affects now are more from sleep deprivation than from anything else. not likely, but possible. i’d kinda think it’s lsd, though, from your description.
there are some weirder hallucinogens out there, like mescaline and dmt (i think that’s it - it’s in electric kool-aid acid test).
she’ll get through it.

yep

see what ex can do to people, all making sh!t up , seeing things and hearing voices and sh!t.

i guess you’re right, I had heard that it was either heroine or speed and i guess it’s speed based. I never really got into what it was, just let me have some and let’s party!..years ago. I can’t believe it but there is an open forum discussing these things, people talking about their drug dealers and there drug use and trips. check out “MERM”

at least we know where the DEA is hanging out but 10 to 1 says that that forum is protected under some law or another or people wouldn’t be so freely talking about it. hell, it wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t protected under some right or law. Only in America…and Amsterdam!

Had a patient overdose on a new street drug they are calling 2CI. The effects aren’t fully understood yet, especially for overdoses, and apparently its pretty easy to overdose on. The description that they are telling us is that the trip is likened to taking ecstasy with a hallucinogen. The trip generally lasts 8 hours for a normal dose with multiple peaks throughout the trip.

She’s probably possessed by a demon. Get her to a church!

That’s what my coworker’s friends did when his cousin, who they new was into drugs, started acting really weird. They called the pastor and took him down to the church and had a group prayer. This was the second time he’d seen a possessed person. The first time the person claimed she could see the devil behind him…she also was a known drug user.

TRUE story!

“Abraham Lincoln’s morning breath.”

No one got this?

no
.

Her dad has picked her up and is taking care of her, getting her medical help, etc.

I just learned that she has a psychiatric history. Basically we posit that she’s had a psychotic break. She’s had a few crazy life events lately, so those events may have triggered the psychotic break. If she did take a drug, the drug may have been a trigger as well.

Thanks for the feedback…

And yes, I’ve seen drugs trigger people’s mental illnesses, and it’s not pretty. I have a friend who smoked dope and it changed her forever (full-on schizophrenia). I’ll take my drugs in the form of exercise endorphins…Oh, and caffeine.

Oleander

2CI is like 2CB, but substituting a bromine atom (B) with an Iodine (I) atom. No difference in potency. The danger with these drugs, however, is the dosage. You can find balances at head shops to allow you measure down to 0.1 g, which is the standard dose of ecstasy (MDMA or MDA). The dosages for 2C-B and 2C-I, however, are 12-24 mg, and the intensity of the drug experience doubles ~ every 2 mg., so with such a steep dosage response curve, and the lack of accurate balances available in most areas, it’s bound to come up that people are overdosing on these. Nothing much you can do, except hydrate and be patient for the drug to be processed from the body.

Vaguely remember it from maybe a Neal Stephenson book?

Can you explain it in a easy to understand way?

“I’ve seen drugs trigger people’s mental illnesses, and it’s not pretty.”

Sounds like my nephew before he straightenned his life around and got off the drugs. On one occasion he was taken to the psychiatric hospital because his behaviour was so off the wall for several days. He still has some psychiatric issues but is doing much better under monitored care. Get her some medical help ASAP.

Mark Leyner wrote a fantastic novel called Et Tu, Babe. It is a made up recalling of his life where he is an all powerful author of incredible wealth and power and how his greatness ends. It is brilliant beyond awesome. In the novel he breaks in to the Smithsonian to steal the last sample of Abraham Lincoln’s morning breath that he and his wife huff to have the greatest of all trips.

I give it 7 out of 5 stars and place second to Winnie The Pooh as one the greatest works of fiction ever.

well, there’s always the option of not taking the drug in the first place.
although i do admit, it does sound tempting… (ah, to be young again)
