Trek has those nifty looking draft boxes. Why aren’t there similar products for other bikes? Or are there and I just haven’t stumbled across them? How compatible do you think the Trek draft box would be on some other bikes… or would that be sacrilege?

I think the rear brake being in the normal spot at the top of the seatstays will make that impossible.
Of course, you could always just make it install into the rear brake attachment and only run a front brake. One brake is plenty, right?

Believe it or not, “filling” the area between the downtube and seat tube is very fickle from an aero perspective. Specialized tested theirs in the wind tunnel and it’s aero neutral but take a look at Alden’s storage box for the P5. Looks like it should be very aero but didn’t fare well at all first time in the tunnel (really hope this gets improved fwiw). Also, people using various aero and non-aero bottles get all kinds of different results.
The draft box should be a more consistent approach.

I’ve often thought about designing a few for different frames and putting them up on sculpteo.com or a similar webstore that 3d prints designs on demand. Alas, I have not had the spare time

P2 and P3, both old and current, would be nearly impossible to accommodate because of rear brake placement. Shame because that’s a good chunk of tri bikes. BMC TM01/02, Shiv, Plasma Premium are candidates off the top of my head. Pretty sure I’ve seen a Trek draft box on a BMC irl.
