Do you tape your clip on aero bars?

Do you? And if you do how do you do it? Electrical tape at both ends? I can only find videos online looking at TT style aerobars. Cheers

When I had a set of clip-ons I did tape them but found regular bar tape to be too thick so I used Wilson tennis racket grip tape. Works very well.

Only needs to be taped at the end closest to your handlebars.

same here, Head or other tennis racquet wrap. Electrical tape at the base bar and bar plugs in the ends. The aluminum is just too slippery to use with wet hands and no gloves.

Nope. My aero bars (and base bar) are nekkid.

On the extensions, I need grip not cushion. Used to go with racket tape (gamma grip 2). These days I use silicone rescue tape. Grippy, super-thin, non-absorbant, no sticky adhesive (fuses to itself). Color matches my frame too.

Electrical tape will be slippery, and has adhesive that gets everywhere.
