I use 3 times a week/wife 4-5 times. . I’ve seen a massive improvement in running consistency as allows flexibility in getting it done with young family.
What Model: Sole F63-real happy with it

Assault Fitness AssaultRun (stupid name, excellent treadmill)
It was quite expensive. Around $3,500 US at their door?
From a crossfit gym that had a deal on new ones.
A lot in winter. A lot less in summer. But it’s nice to be able to jump on for 25 minutes if I have a whole in my day and am working from home.
Edited - was not delivered.
Peloton Tread, about $2600ish + 2 year extra warranty (so 3 years I think), came to about $3000. Honestly love it. But that’s more about the “peloton” and less about the “treadmill.”
Woodway 4Front, paid $3800. Bought it from an auction house that was liquidating treadmills from a gym. Use it 1-2 times a week in summer, 4-7 times a week in winter (and wife has similar usage).
10/10 would buy again.
Also I’m aware that I basically stole it for that price.
Sole F63- I purchased used of Craigslist for $300. Probably at least 5 years old with little use, still had deck stickers on it. Turns out I knew the seller. Estimated use in summer is 2-3 times per month, probably twice a week during the winter. Good, solid, not loud. Good value. Owned a Precor purchased new previously. Sole is way better value. Would absolutely purchase another Sole.
In the past 10 years I have bought 3 treadmills off Craigslist etc. never paid more than $200. I run on these 5 days a week - have them at my office gym and run at lunch time. They have typically been low on features and I don’t do a lot of intervals etc, just consistent pace running with a few pace increases. So I have $600 into no-name treadmills but the consistency of running every day is what make these invaluable to my training.
I’m sure expensive treadmills have their place and may make running “better†but the cheaper models still will serve a purpose.
Woodway 4Front refurb
Paid $4500, had ~180 miles on it,
Purchased directly from a Running Fitness Center that went out of business due to Covid-19,
Use it 3-4 times a week and love it.
Landice 7
Paid about $4k now 3-4 years ago
Purchased from local vendor
Household has 4 users:
2 teens who run infrequently but hard
2 adults who log between 3-15 miles each depending on season
probably half the volume is threshold or faster
we had ceiling height issues
Landice 7 seemed like the highest quality with lowest deck
we are very satisfied
.
Got one for 650 euros that allow 18km/h speed
After 1 year he is broken and not work anymore. But never really used it so much. Very difficult for me to stay on it 1 hour.
Prefer to run outside generally
Another vote for Sole, I have the F80 and it was a great purchase. I have done everything from easy walks, hills, speedwork, to 20 mile long runs on it and it just performs. Had to replace the belt as it was getting a bit slippery, and although I was able to DIY it, the fine tuning can be a bit tricky.
I have a Nordictrack Commercial 1750. I bought it for $400 from a warehouse liquidator. It had zero miles but was open box. The power cord was severed so I essentially replaced it and it was a new treadmill.
It’s a great treadmill with a touchscreen and IFIT compatible. There are no sidewalks near my house and the roads have no shoulders, so running is very questionable unless you hop in the car and drive 20 minutes. In the winter with less daylight it’s even more essential. I don’t think I could live without it.
Used 2018 Woodway 4-Front from liquidator. It had 3800 miles on it. Paid 4K. We use it 2-3 times per week in the summer and 5-6 times per week in the winter. We had various belt treadmills in the past and bit when I saw the deal on the Woodway. It was worth being patient, everyone in my family feels it is worth the price because the feel is so different. The only thing I don’t like is keeping the non-skid on the sides clean. Its skateboard tape and it gets really nasty.

Yes you did! If only I could be so fortunate.

Used Woodway 4front bought in Ireland. It had maybe 1000 miles on it. Bought it used for $6000 or so. My wife uses it 5x a week. I use it once a week, maybe a few times a week in the winter. I’d rather be outside if I can. It has been fantastic though and well worth it.
A friend gave me one she wasn’t using. The belt is jumpy and I sometimes walk on it. Haven’t had time to diagnose what is wrong and fix it

Sole F80
$1600 new (on sale a couple hundred off?)
Bought direct from Sole
I use 3-5 times in winter hardly ever in summer but hoping to be 4-6 times a week next year all year long as I’m getting back into training. Wife uses it about the same but also in summer more.
Totally worth it would definitely do it again. The ability to get on and run whenever and still be home to check napping kids are okay is great.

It’s a very nice treadmill, it took me a little while to put it together.
I just don’t like running in her workout room. The normal height ceiling feels weird to me.
Landice L7
I’ve had it for at least 10 years… (I think)
It has been a great purchase. Completely trouble free.
I think I paid about $3,500 total, delivered, with my old one hauled away. It has been worth every penny.
I love running outside but the convenience of just putting on a pair of shorts and shoes and running (especially in the winter, where I would have to bundle up) is pretty amazing. I have had some of my best running races coming off of blocks where I did a lot of treadmill running.
