Seems like training only on a different bike from race is a bad idea. A lot of people do some road bike some tri bike…

I have a roadie and a Tri bike.
I think next time I upgrade my Tri bike I will leave my current bike on the computrainer and only race on the new bike. My tri bike takes a beating from my sweat on the CT. It would be nice not to have to worry about cleaning it up as much as I do now! I could also leave race wheels and everything on the racer.
I have too many tribikes. LOL

-Felt DA1 (my 2013 bike)
-Cervelo P5-3 (my neswest bike… hope it’s gonna beat my Kueen-K)
And 3 road bikes:
-Felt FC (my 2013 roady)
-Specialized S-Works Tarmac (2012 roady)
-Old Marinoni Colombus SLX (my winter bike… and the only one that I will never sell… my only durable friend since 1993)
But I only have one butt to sit on so I will have to sell some bikes (kuota, Felt and Spec).
Obviously in a higher income bracket than most :).

Yes, same positioning on tri bikes. Mainly ride tri bike when I ride alone or training rides…road bikes for group rides & longer small group rides.
