DIY Heat Moldable Carbon Fiber?

How do you do this at home? Think the bont shoes that are heat moldable. Is there a way to do this yourself?

you’d be better off making a mould of your foot with one of the ortho surgeon molding sock type things. Giving you the female mould of your foot…then fill it w/ plaster or something and using that as the “last” to make a custom boot.

The carbon or resin sole on Bonts are not heat moldable. It is actually the bottom half of the upper and toe box that is heat moldable. Not sure what this part of the shoe made of, but it’s not carbon fiber.

Any epoxy with a low glass transition temperature rating (Tg) will go soft and be mildly moldable, these resins typically are the cheap ones.
