DIY Giro Aerohead "pod"

I have been waiting for a Helmet pod for the last 6month her in denmark. So now i desidet to make something myself.
I used the procedure from this clip.
The pattern ned to bee refined a little, but so far i am pleased with the result.
The plan is to make a hard shell with som fiberglass from a previous project. and then sew a bag to place it all in.
What do you think

I am confused as to the goal of this project? Care to explain?

Make a helmet case for the aerohead.

The project is about making a helmet pod for transportation of a not cheap helmet. And for the fun of making something yourself, like my homemade wheelcovers from ABS, and my customised Specialized Fuel Cell.

Seems like a lot of work when you can buy one for 50 bucks.

If it was possible to by one in Denmark, I would have done it. I have been waiting for 6 month, to get one from the danish giro distributor. If I had to by from overseas it would cost (50$ +shipping) *1,12 toll *1,25 tax+ 25$ expedition from postal services. All in all about 140$. But if you know of a place in Europe that has online sale, and ships to Denmark I would like to know. Giro themselves have not Ben of any help.

I just bought some generic helmet pod off Amazon that fit the Aerohead just fine. Cost $50.

Try this, if no good I’ll buy one for you and ship it

What about throwing it inside a few pillowcases? I have mine (same helmet) inside one of the bags IM handed out at 70.3 races four years ago - the material of the bag is somewhat padded and it cinches closed. I guess it seems like a lot of work for an uncomplicated problem.
