Some school board members in Virginia want to burn some books because of their content:

A couple thoughts on this matter:

  1. How fucking dumb are these people to actually state aloud that they want to burn books, do they not understand the implication there?
  2. How many people that whined about the Dr. Suess estate choosing not to publish some books will be silent in this case?
  3. THESE ARE EBOOKS! How are they planning on burning them?

It was probably the gay part that set them off more than the pornography - if there even was any “pornography”

D’Kid reads plenty of Y/A fiction, and while there may be same-sex romances here & there, they are not explicit enough to be considered “pornography” by any stretch
