Would you recommend riding this on public roads or should i stick to a road bike and stay away from TT bikes for that?
I think you’ll have to be more specific as the vast majority of roads are public.

Worried about damaging the bike OR safely riding?
If safety you may be in a triathlon with an open road AND competitors nearby. So suck it up. Find a quiet road to ride.
For damage? Would have to know how bad the roads are there pavement wise. Upsize the tire for training to take some bumps better.
I have no experience with the bike but bet it rides and handles fine. You’ll notice most of the fairing is in the middle or rear of the bike which should stabilize handling when riding.
Why wouldn’t you ride it on the road?
