Diadora?

Just a pulse check - anyone running in Diadora shoes and if so, what are the advantages over the big 5 or 6?

I have some pairs coming for front page reviews.

I own a running shop. Diadora have grown up to our #4 brand behind Brooks, Hoka and ASICS. The Blushield tech inside offers cushioning plus I think 5 degrees of support either pronated or supine, depending on your foot strike. The Nucleo 2 is far and away their best selling daily. Other advantage is that it’s not shaped like a Hoka, so if you like a higher heel drop to protect your Achilles & PF, this might do it for you.

Their racer, the Gara is $300 but surprisingly people buy them at that price. I wore them today, tons of fun for 5km up to half marathon.

Big advantage: comfort.

Thanks so much for the reply. I have been in the Volo 4 and found the Volo 5 for me to be a backwards step as the upper seems to be more skimpy.

I’ll try the Nucleo 2 and if $$$ permits, maybe the Gara for a race later this year.
