yes, until 2026 it will be alternately in Nice and Kona.
Wasn’t it early this year due to the Rugby World Cup? So next year and 2025 (for you), the race should be a few weeks later I believe.

They probably already have this figured out, but waiting as long as possible, so people sign up for races in H1 of 2024, and THEN fuck them over with “hey - thanks for signining up, no/few slots though”

Yup! Likely the case! I’ve talked to like 5 different folks at IM and it is such a canned response they give…“There are so many moving parts to this and our team is working around the clock to determine slot allocations so that we can provide this for our athletes. We understand the details are a huge part in planning for a race season.”…this was in JULY! Cannot believe it takes months of around the clock work to figure this out! HAHA
