I can get a good deal on a Cycleops 300 Pro IC, but I’m wondering whether the Powertap will connect to my Fenix 3. Tech support at Cycleops said that their implementation of Ant+ on that model is older, and although it will connect to a Garmin head with Ant+, they’re not sure about a Fenix 3. I don’t fully understand that, but I thought I’d ask here. Anyone using a Fenix with that model?
I think the bike comes with the Joule 2 head. All I want is to easily get the data into Training Peaks, and although I was told that the Joule 2 can do that, it would require that I connect it to my Mac with a USB cord. I’d rather circumvent that hassle by connecting directly to my Fenix 3.
If someone has an alternate suggestion for an indoor cycle, please let me know.
