My source asked to not be made public. They were donated to my cause TSR style, and I appreciate the donation more than the person who gave to me will ever know. I would think that they may be available for purchase sometime in the future. They are MUCH lighter than the standard Carbon X entensions, and one insignifigant trade off is that there is no internal routing…a thing I could care less about.
From an aesthetic standpoint, which is all that really matters, do you like the looks of that bike with that base bar and Ti S-bends?

Yes I know that I ride all my bikes with the front brake under my right hand. I have done that for years, my right hand is my strong hand, I put that on my strong brake. I so far like the s-bends, and knowing my style think that I will really like them going forward. As you can see I have my arm rests sitting on the top of the bar. I typically have my bars about 6" below my seat, if not more. I also am VERY light on the extensions and do not often pull on them at all, more rest my hands out there. One concern is the reach to the shift lever motion, but I am sure if that was a huge issue someone would have complained to HED a long time ago. Either way, I think they are sweet as shit.
So what one you all think I should race this year?
He meant your shift levers…it might just be the angle of the pictures, but the bends seem a little high. What’s the angle of your forearm when you are in position?
