Current State of Getting ANT+ on iOS?

Hi All -

I know back in the day, you could purchase the Wahoo Fitness Key to get ANT+ data on an iPad or iPhone with any of the various bike training apps.

What’s the current options (if any) available these days? I’ve got a Powertap hub in my rear wheel. Use an ANT+ stick to run Zwift/TrainerRoad/whatever on my computer, but I’d like to use the same apps on an iPad.

Looks like this may be an option - https://store.npe-inc.com/cable-connect-ant-to-ble/. Anyone have experience using this? Any other potential options?

I have the cable unit you referenced and it works fine. No complaints. My garmin heart rate monitor died so I picked up a 4iiii heart rate monitor and it acts the same as the cable unit as an ant+ to Bluetooth converter with the added plus of a heart rate monitor and a data logger. Never an issue with either.

If you have one of the old Wahoo Fitness Keys (or can buy one one eBay) and a 30-pin to Lightning adapter (I have an Apple original, but there are knock-offs on Amazon), then I beleive it still works. I used mine to recalibrate an old Quarq power meter recently.

I also have the Cable. It works like a champ to pair the Quarq (ANT+ only) with a Polar watch (BLE only).

Edited to add: The 4iiii Viiiiva heart rate monitor will also translate from ANT+ to BLE just like the Cable.

You use a wheel on trainer?

You have power tap rear wheel as well

I sent you a private message

I use the cable device you referenced to get HR & cadence to my Apple TV for Zwift.
Works fine. I would think it work work on iOS as well.
