Just curious…
I’m looking at two wheelsets. One is a 22mm depth clincher that weighs about 1200g. The other is a 46mm tubular that weighs about 1000g.
Generally, which would you speculate as being the faster wheelset?
Thanks!

Assuming you use good tires for both the lighter / deeper wheel will almost always be faster.

With deeper being way more important than lighter.

Unless you’re climbing, and by climbing I mean mountains, steep ones.
