these are those gnarley-ass-looking clogs that a lot of triathletes wear. i cringe every time i see 'em. now they’re going public. i’m gonna short this stock to zero.

i wear mine at home, to the gym sometimes, and on short errands. they are royal blue. i’ve threatened to get my husband a pair of orange ones, he shudders at the thought.

to each their own, they grow on a person actually.

You might want to rething that short selling decision. These guys rock, and they’re company is growing big time. I agree, it takes a bit to get used to the style, but they’re awesome. Plus, they’re ridiculously comfortable, and last a relatively long time. They’re catching on big-time w/ the outdoor crowd (esp backpackers, kayakers, etc.) so they actually do have a decent product. Additionally, they’re introducing new products all the time, so it looks like their business plan isn’t totally invested on their one shoe.

What the heck are these things? I hope not those neon coloured plastic garden shoes.

Yep…that’s what they are…ugly as sin and yet comfortable apparently. Me, I’ll stick with my birks.

They are a fad…

I picked up a pair at a whitewater event in Colorado back in the summer of 2003. They are butt ugly but ridiculously comfortable. I’m still wearing my original pair and do so nearly every day. Most of my friends thought they were ugly and they’d never wear them but as soon as they tried them on they bought them. I’d guess that within about 2 months most of my kayaking friends had gotten a pair. You used to only be able to buy them at specialty stores. Now you can get them just about anywhere – both the originals and the knockoffs.
