Critique my fit! New bike and LP-09 helmet

I don’t think I ever have had a true side shot with my leg fully extended before. This is my new Ceepo Viper, I feel super comfortable on it, please excuse the mismatched colored 808’s, going from SRAM 10 to 11 speed has been a nightmare on my race wheel situation….

you did some good work

your saddle is yes…too high. it could easily come down 1cm or more.

personally, while your position is good, i will kept rotating you around the bb meaning
-saddle push forward,
-stem longer
-lower the front handlbar/aerobar.

this would not change any of your angles but would rotate you to have a more aero position and should kept the confort level about the same.

I will definitely go by my Retul fit guy and do some more tweaking. We set this bike up using the measured angles from my previous bike and he wanted me to ride a bit before changing anything more specific.

so why do you ask for position critic/comments???

Because I always find it helpful to hear other opinions. I appreciate guys like you to opine and give me a point of reference when I talk to my local guy. He’s not always going to be right nor does he pretend to be.

ok, i think i lost something in translation first! sounds good!

.

Eric, my body doesn’t bend that way. But I will say I loved how I fit on that P5. The one issue with the pic of me on the Ceepo is I am sitting up a little as I was approaching a turn, you can see me sort of looking off to the left.

Why didja move on from the P5?
The Viper is nice, but I used to refer to them as the P3.5 - better than the old style P3, but not quite equal to the P4.
Seems like a slight step back from a P5…

And, what didja do w the P5?
Sell it, or keep it as the worlds most badass training mule?

It wasn’t mine, it was my coaches bike. He let me train on it for the 6 months heading into Kona 2012. It was a fabulous bike, but I knew Zoot would eventually get a new bike sponsor for our Team and din’t want to spend that much on a bike I might have to give up in a year.

Bryan, you plan on going back to Kona again? You see yourself beating that 5:03 from 2012? What races you got coming up?

At some point, and if I do, not get another 4min penalty. I am just racing some local stuff, Escape from Alcatraz, and AG Nationals, both of which I have never done. I needed a break from long course racing. Maybe a Kona in 2016, family plans dependent.

Guess I will see you at nationals. For nationals you want to be real comfortable. Bring the seat down 5 cm. push it forword and maybe put a 70mm stem on there. Lol you should run just well off of that. Only if your in my AG that is ;0)

sounds like a good plan…you are still young, and have some really great years of racing ahead!

That Rudy though…
