His seats to high, there I said it …are you happy now.

You think so?

It looks to me like Faris has the ‘slippier’ position. Much better than Kona. Normann seems more upright?

not the best angle for the Faris shot, but he looks great. Best position I’ve seen him with, yet.

ouch - I think Normann’s pads are too far forward. I like the green better than yellow/blue.

hey, and Faris is riding with the huge tension pulley as well.

I agree, those guys will never win anything in those horrible bike positions …

Trust me, I am sure their positions are perfect for them! They have probably spend more on their positions then I have on my 3 bikes

I’m not saying change the position, he’s holding his upper body weight in the middle of his forearm. That’s the problem with the integrated basebar/pads/extensions. You can’t slide the pads behind it.

i haven’t asked him about this, but some folks (me included) ride with the armrests further in front so that we won’t hit our knees on the armrests when out of the aero position. the longer your legs v your torso, the more you’re likely to have this problem.

Maybe it’s just me. The Speedo and man-bra is weird on it’s own, but throw in the monster helmet and it just looks wrong…

Like the reliable, no-nonesense, bottles-on-the-frame approach. Everything old is new again!

Normann position is different from his '04 Kona ride. It looks to me that his '04 postion was on a smaller bike and for '06 he is on a larger frame.

Am I the only one that can see the weird angled Faris shot and 2 red crosses??

Is that a new Cannondale frame for Faris? It looks different than the Six13 he was riding last year (noticeably the fairing on the back wheel).

Search his posts, I think he’s already addressed this and stated he was riding the same size bikes.

I think their positions look comfortable.

thats what i am getting too, just the first photo and two red X’s
.

same here.

IIRC in 2004 he rode a large, changed to a medium for 2005, and then back to a large in 2006. It looks like he’s on a large again this year with the new fork and internal cabling. The green is…interesting. I’m still waiting to see what the new Kwake will look like!

The original pics for those who couldn’t see them before.

When i put my cursor on the red crosses, and press right mouse button, the menu shows “see picture” (in Dutch so don’t know what the english sentence will be, running Firefox btw). After clicking “see picture” the browser will show full picture.

Not liking the green.

Not liking the green.

Wow, I LIKE the green! It looks fast!
