Create training plan sites?

I’m starting to dabble into making custom training plans for people who want to start out in the tri world. I use training peaks and it’s great for my coach and I to look at data and get him email/txt alerts on my day to day training, but it looks like coaches have to pay $50 a month for that service. Although per month that is fair I’m not going to be spending $700 a year for giving people a free service.

Anyone know of any good free sites to do most of this stuff for free? Although it’s not necessary it would be nice to be able to upload data or at least have an option where they can put in details about how their workout went, and being able to link their data from there.

bump. anyone? I guess I could just excel it…?

You could use Sporttracks from Zone 5 software and then use drop box or email to share the files. Allows you to create workouts and export them to Garmins etc with different plugins. My wife uses TrainingPeaks, I use Sporttracks. I prefer the features a lot of the plugins in Sporttracks give, but her coach uses Training Peaks

I created a simple Feedback Spreadsheet in Google Docs, set it as editable by anyone with a link and then email the link to the athlete.

The athlete can update the spreadsheet from work, home or an internet cafe, on his/her phone, tablet, laptop or PC (anything with an internet connection). And I have access to their feedback the same way.

runningahead.com is good after some customization on what to display.
