Correcting elevation data in Garmin file

I have a 310xt and the elevation data is sometimes screwed up.

When I import it into Raceday Apollo it completely screws up my TSS since it makes it seems I am running up 70 degree verticals at 4min/km (I wish)

Is there a way to correct the elevation data in the GPX file? I found one that seems to work for SportTracks, but I suspect it can’t be used outside of there.

thanks

I use WKO+ and there is a feature that lets you correct the elevation based on a USGS database.

I am pretty sure that there is an “autosmooth” function for the elevation found in the “settings.” Considering that the 310xt does not use an altimeter to generate the elevation info, it will always be somewhat inconsistant. DC rainmaker has some great info on at.
