Coros Pace 2 Screen Protector?

I got a great deal and finally took the plunge on a Coros Pace 2. Looking for advice on adding a screen protector? I have one on my phone, so logic would say yes, but my daughter has an Apple watch that seems bulletproof without one.

Any input is appreciated!

I got the self healing one of Amazon. It’s awesome. Don’t remember brand but can find out after work.

I always use it after I scratched my old fenix 5.

I have the tempered glass/gorilla glass one for my Fenix. ~7-8 bucks (the coros one is similar cost). Cheap insurance against a screen scratch or random impact. It can also be pried off and reused (ex. had my Fenix replaced under warranty), but has never come off or shifted in years of swimming. Get the glass, not the TPU “film.”

The films also look like crap. Glass looks flatter, doesn’t get scratched, and feels nicer to the touch.

I have never used a screen protector on any watch I have worn. I have only had one scratch in an Apple Watch, and a screen protector wouldn’t have saved it. I would go without.

I actually like the film on the coros pace because it sat pretty flush where glass would protrude a bit. The protector I used looked fine, you can barely tell it was there. I will say that I do prefer the glass on garmins or watches with a raised bezel.

Why ruin the watch with a screen protector?
It’s a cheap watch. Wear it out and get a new one.
Or pony up for an Apex Pro or Vertix with better glass.

I’ve had mine for a year now and kept thinking to myself the first 6 months if I should get some kind of protection for the face but never got around to even looking into it. Mine is worn daily and I’ve scraped it and banged it during two moves, and my puppy likes to gnaw at it on my wrist and there are no marks whatsoever.

I am very happy with mine a year in. No scratches and love the watch overall
