Anybody have great experiences with the elipse seat post? My biggest concern is it lloks like it might slip? Any other possible side effects i should know about? Thanks.
You do have to tighten the hell out of it to keep it from slipping. It’s nicely made and a cool looking post, it can even be reversed, but it is not the most mechanically robust design out there.
I like mine, I have had no issues with it slipping at all. And don’t let anyone tell you it has weight limits, I am 190 and it’s fine.
My seat post didn’t slip, but I never could get the saddle clamp tight enough that the saddle wouldn’t eventually start to rotate. I eventually tightened the binder bolt so hard it broke.
yeah i love it, i have it pointing in the forward direction, it slipped a little one the very first ride, but since then no issues. very cool post.
