pretty much… the one instance where it just spits out wild data with no easily discernible reason (Kask helmet test) means it’s hard to trust ANY of the data.
Yeah, as I’ve said elsewhere, I think these devices can make things easier but they can’t make things easy. We usually look to these kinds of things to help us answer questions, not raise new ones.
That said, I’m not sure that was the best test protocol to follow.
I think this is more realistic to a customer base or end user than the highly capable hands of dcrainmaker.
Meaning, if you’re not a TT/tri data or aero junkie, not sure how good this thing is for a more “casual userâ€.
I fall into the “junkie†category but thought it lay be a good purchase someday to avoid data dives on the Chung method.
I can’t justify the cost if the ease of on the fly use versus post data analysis doesn’t pan out.
Any newer thoughts here from ST users?
If you’re not an aero junkie you’re not going to be buying this thing anyway… I can’t imagine the casual user investing in it.
(*unless you’re a dentist)

Maybe I just feel dumb having expected this to give a more reliable “live†feedback.
If I want to have to dig into data, I’ll do the normal Chung method stuff and save $300.
I was hoping for more here. Maybe someday the products will refine to the point they’re what I was thinking they would be.
Nothing wrong having to wait for results, but knowing on the spot opens up immediately adjustment to the data. Instead of guessing what to try that day, analyze, then come back another day.
This would basically just save you using GC after a ride test if the “live†feature isn’t super polished.
