Selling my Contour Roam HD Camera, helmet mount and handlebar mount, comes with 32gb micro sd card. Bought last spring to use for commuting to/from work. Was hit by a car and this came in handy by capturing it all leaving no doubt the driver was at fault.

Yeah still available except I don’t think I wanna sell now. I wanted to sell this and buy a GoPro, however I was recently involved in a cyclist vs angry driver altercation in which the whole thing was caught on my helmet mounted contour. Had I been using a gopro it would have been mounted to my bike and missed the whole physical altercation. I actually forgot I posted this here, lol. I highly recommend riding with a helmet cam if you live near angry motorists, this happened on rural country roads, people are angry!

any comments between this and roam2?
Never used the roam2, but I have absolutely no complaints about the roam. Well, after almost a year, the battery is only lasting about 3hrs instead of 3.5 like it did when new. I’ve used it on every ride since last march and it’s been perfect. As I originally posted, I wanted to switch to a GoPro, that’s because I wanted to use the camera for other things besides on my bike and I think GoPro would be better for my other uses. And the fact that Contour is no longer in business. But I will use this until it fails. As I also posted earlier, having this mounted to my helmet captures footage off the bike and I wouldn’t want a gopro mounted to my road helmet.

Not that this sounds like it’s the only factor driving your decision to sell, but they are back in business (as of a month or so ago).
Also came across a lot of posts that you can update the Roam 1 with the Roam 2 firmware to get 60 fps at 720. I think you need a specific older version of the firmware.
I see the Roam 1 on Amazon for around $130, and the Roam 2 for $199 through a third party. I think the Amazon price for the Roam 2 was $170, but doesn’t look like new stock on that, yet.
