What is your solution for ending the “crisis”?

The system is collapsing under its own weight and it is only going to get worse exponentially as the weather gets better.
Right now there are tens of thousand caravaning and taking freight trains heading for our borders.

On a personal note I was at a Home Depot the other day and I saw what looks like a small central American woman dragging a suitcase and she had a young kid with her.
Maybe she was legally here, just taking a stroll down the sidewalk with her boy and suit case or maybe this will be a new common sight.

Spend the money to process the asylum seekers at points of entry. The only reason they are not applying at ports of entry, is because the administration is stopping them. So they go and cross somewhere else. This is not rocket science.

Also, calling people a disease is like really bad.

So now you have 3000+ migrants daily crossing the border through the front door and then what?

Where do all these extremely poor, low educated, non- English speaking people go?

I highly doubt the “they know people” will be the primary care takers of this massive flow.

Think of this credibility like a bank, or a credit score. There are deposits and withdrawls. Something like this would be like a withdrawl.

Something like Duffy telling poor people to not procreate would be like taking out a credit card for a $2000 tv you can’t afford. Advocating for free college would be like a pay-day loan advance to make a payment on a luxury car you can’t afford.

I observed something out of place in my real World. How many times should I observe an anomaly before I can mention it?

Many border cities are complaining their shelters and churches are full, there is no where to sent these people, so ICE just releases them on the streets.

One of the largest selling points of that ad was the drop in crime rate. You know what other area had a similar drop in crime rate over the same period of time? ALL OF THEM. Yes, that’s right. After the initial drop, the entire US had the same crime tracking as did San Diego after the wall was built.

The Border Patrol (the welcoming crew) is dealing with such a huge mass of immigrants flooding in, they don’t have the time to properly monitor the border anymore. Of course this is great for the drug cartels.

They don’t make much sense in remote areas, which accounts for a huge % of the border. Crossing a desert with no roads already delays crossers hugely. Delaying them by another 3 minutes when it already takes, say, 30 hours to cross a desert just makes no sense.

It’s a systems engineering problem. The problem is that “the wall” has been politicized as a symbol for a larger ideological fight, and no longer really has much to do with actual border security.
