I did not take offense. I get your point but I think the liberal and Conservative labels are a bit skewed these days which is why my primary interest is facts and truth, regardless of where these facts fall on the historical political spectrum.
I support free trade and some targeted tariffs. Blanket tariffs on all imports are not Conservative but left wing populism..
I have mentioned that I am concerned about the national debt, which is why I will vote for the candidate that is more fiscally responsible.
Conservatives have long supported managed immigration and believed immigrants are the backbone of America. I am concerned about people who try to game the asylum system so I will vote for the candidate who addresses the issue and does not try to use chaos for political gain.
Historically many Conservative Christians believed in giving a hand up to marginalized groups. It also can make good economic sense as the economy runs better when more people participate in it.
