My wife has been away from the sport for awhile. She owns 2 Computrainers but says they are now extinct.
Is there still a program out there that supports Computrainer devices? The new systems just aren’t the same.
Thank you in advance.

You can pair a computrainer to Zwift

I have tried them all. In terms of “just working”, Perfpro is the best. Rock Solid
Now, if you want a Zwift or Rouvvy style environment that would be a different question. As noted Zwift does work but for example you can calibrate (do a roll down) once the session started.
Perfpro is a pay once license, not monthly
YOu can also use the legacy version of trainerroad. Main thing you miss out on my experience is group workouts, but you can workaround that too if you load both versions.
Been using mine with zwift for years.
I just got rid of my Computrainer in favor of a direct drive trainer. The only program that worked consistently was Perf Pro (as stated above). Used it for about 5 years with only occasional issues when they upgraded software.
I tried to use ZWIFT, but had a lot of connection/communication problems between it and the CT. Made more complicated because my bike had a power meter.
I’ve been using Golden Cheetah for 5 years now, with both the Computrainer and Suito, and it’s been perfect for me. I make my own ERG workouts or easily import them from the platform I use (Xert). I have an old laptop that’s dedicated to the Computrainer. I even use the old racemate software sometimes.
PerfPro sells a CT bridge software that I used to make the Computrainer “wireless”. But I went back to using Golden Cheetah.
I recently went from a Computrainer to an Elite Suito…and I kind of think it was a side/downgrade. I thought having a modern trainer would be more convenient, but the Computrainer just feels better and is more accurate and stable.
Try Golden Cheetah. It’s free. It’s not as easy to use as PerfPro, though.
