Compression tights.....which ones work? (revisited)

I tried on CW-X but the store didn’t have my size, and I have seen Zoot, 2XU and others online. Is it worth $90-110 for these high end compression tights? Will my legs feel good longer, as the editorials imply?

In Michael Barry’s book about his time on US Postal Service, he wrote that the team all used normal compression-hose that you can buy at walgreens when they fly, to keep the blood from pooling in their legs. I do this on long flights and it works, so I’m sure it would work for training as well. They’re pretty sturdy as they’re built for giant women also.

You can get them for about $14. I have worn mine about 6 times or so and they have no holes yet. I don’t think I’d wear them actually showing though…

LOL! I can imagine the looks if I get searched by the TSA when I fly this week…

Is anyone besides Michellie using these sport tights?

Ive tried the Skins and now the 2XU. They both seem to be the same despite their claims. With the 2xu ive tried a small but they seem to be a bit big even though im a 32 waist and they are for 30 - 32, the XS were to small. Being a Kiwi a local brand Canterbury are making some great gear that in the compression line seems to be made of a much thicker fabric. They are also have ionised fabric which is supposed to help with circulation. Have a look at http://www.canterburynz.net.nz/asp/index.asp

Love my 2xu’s my legs feel fresher after I do my long runs in them. Haven’t used them as recovery tights yet, but they are very high quality.

The 2xu are great tights, but they are sized for men. Even on the xsmalls it hard to fit small women
