Have a strained hamstring that is becoming a major drag, has anyone had any luck using a compression sleeve to help with rehab?
Was thinking about ordering one but can’t find too many reviews.
Thanks
Try kinesio tape.
Worked for me.
yes. I bought one at walgreens or something. It was neoprene. what it did? I do not know. But it helped remind me that I was injured.

You could try an “active” compression garment like this…
I have these and really like them. It helps keep things compressed and they aren’t uncomfortable.
You could also try these…
Best of luck. Injuries are no fun!
I was getting frequent groin and hammy pulls playing hockey, I bought the CompresSport Q ForQuads and it did wonders for me. Not a single groin pull since buying them last season.
They’re great.
+1 for the CompressSport for Quads,
Had a hamstring tear at IMC, 3 weeks off, getting back into some runs now. Can still feel the tightness during the runs with the sleeve but hurts a lot less with it on. Wearing it after for a few hours seems to ease the stiffness. The sleeve won’t cure it, just hold it and helps it heal. Don’t forget to do some hamstring rehab exercises/stretches and the dreaded foam roller to prevent it from occuring again! (once you get the okay from your doc.)

Yep, me too. Was having alot of hamstring tightness in one leg (cycling background - so no surprises there) when I started running. Stretching exercises helped less than CompressSport Quad Guards! When I want to run fast, even do a race, I’ll still wear the Quad Guard. Makes a big difference.
Here’s a good review of the 2XU Compression Leg Sleeves. These are the way to go. Full leg compression without the restriction of tights.
another vote for the Compressport ForQuad - they’re helping me get over a minor adductor issue at the moment and really make a huge difference!
yes, i’m sponsored by them. i’d use them even if i wasn’t, 'cause they’re awesome!
cheers!

Mistress k there are plenty of pro out there using our Forquads that aren’t sponsored by us!!! (check the little grey band)
Lots of good advice on compression but best thing to do is run slow, or more importantly, don’t run hard.
Have a strained hamstring that is becoming a major drag, has anyone had any luck using a thigh compression sleeve for recover hamstring?
Was thinking about ordering one but can’t find too many reviews.
Thanks
Copper thigh compression sleeves are recommended. I bought this thigh cover because of a baseball injury. Compared to other similar brands, it is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and provides solid support on my thigh muscles. I personally like Copper a little more than Vive.
