Compression plug for carbon fork steerers - which ones do you use?

I tried a few cheapo ones from Amazon - they all suck and can be really really hard to remove. Which ones do you use?

I used to have to a Time bike with a plug that was not an expander but would just fit snugly into the steerer - anyone knows if these are still available somewhere?

Thanks!

For reinforcing the fork and everyday use, Specialized. For saving weight, Enve. I tend to stick with the Specialized one.

The specialized for $10 is by far the best I’ve used.

I think that every carbon steerer should come with a full length aluminum insert bonded in, though.

Origin8 Compression Plug: Really impressed with the build quality; loads better than the one that came stock with my BMC.
$15 shipped.

ENVE has a good one.

I use this Deda because it’s quite long and allows a lot of stem adjustment without worrying about support.

Can never go wrong with Token

Their newest model is ONLY 19 grams.

Honestly, I used to work for Token before Culprit was even a thought. They have an incredible design team the last few years and are really doing well on focused products. namely hubs/wheels and anything to do with headset parts.

Give this a go.
