Complement to H2O Audio

I bought their arm band and headphones at the NYC Tri in 08. They were selling them there before they were publicly available and I went ahead and took the risk on it.

Needless to say, the equipment worked great. Even now, I can just get my ZuneHD into the armband and will probably get the larger one so it fits more comfortably. Unlike other companies that have tried to make a water proof music player and failed miserably, they just made a great water proof case and let you use your MP3 player of choice (iphone/ipod/zune/sansa/etc.)

About a week or two outside the one year warranty, the left headphone stopped working. I contacted the company and, despite being a couple of weeks out of warranty, they sent me a replacement set of headphones.

I’m glad to see them advertising here on ST and give their product and their customer service my highest recommendation.

+1

The left earpiece on my Interval went mute last week. On Sunday, I was checking their web site and saw a form to report a problem. I filled it out and it spit out a Return Authorization number. Not knowing any better, I packaged up the case, slapped the RA number on the outside, and dropped it off at the Post Office on Monday morning.

Much to my surprise, an H2O Audio customer service rep called me that afternoon (morning in California). He said he was calling to help me troubleshoot the problem, and I sheepishly admitted that I’d already put the unit in the mail to them. Without even a microsecond of hesitation, he immediately said No Problem, we’ll FedEx you a replacement right away. And they did exactly that. Absolutely no questions asked whatsoever. They did not ask for a purchase date, amount, receipt, or any other details. They didn’t even wait for the defective unit to arrive back at their facilities.

Awesome customer service.
