Was looking at the LP results and see that Griffin McNeese led everyone, except 1 pro, out of the water. And saw that he led everyone out of the water at Rev3. Does anyone know where Griffin came from? Could he challenge Andy Potts and John Flanagan for the swim at Kona?

john was sub 15:30 for sure, Andy as well.
According to Asics’ website, Andy Potts’ best 1500m free was 15:34…and a 14:51 5K time.
it is not really what did in the past but more what they will do in kona…we just have to wait and see
and i posted his time just to show that he’s not new to swimming in case somebody wants to argue here

Looking at LP results Griffin was more than 2 minutes faster than Chip Berry who went 15:20 in college. Seems that Griffin is a better open water swimmer than pool swimmer.
I doubt John will be at Kona this year. He’s way down in the rankings.
I trained with Griffin back in college, it was amazing to see how he held his pace as the distance got longer. Glad to see he’s racing again, he had/has so much talent.
