I can’t find an internet resource for these guys. They make swim trunks for lifeguards and Navy SEALs and frogman type dudes.
Any ideas? Do i have the name wrong? I thought the company was called Thousand Mile Summer.
is the company you’re thinking of but their web site doesn’t have any of their life guard stuff. I’ve bought swim suits from them before and they make the best sweat shirts ever. With the web site not mentioning their life guard stuff, it makes me think my old brain not working right. Maybe they sold off that part of the business???

Mail them, i’ll bet they’ll give you the info. There are a pretty cool bunch of people. I can walk down to the beach at lunch and pull down one their shorts and see if you want. They do have internet connection from jail now don’t they?

I’ve been out of the game a while but I used to supervise lifeguards (we had over 1,000 summer guards/season) and absolutely loved the Thousand Mile trunks. They held up really well to day in day out wear.
One of our main suppliers was Adolf Kiefer & Associates (http://www.kiefer.com). I just checked their site and they don’t seem to carry TM trunks, but they were always decent to me and delivered when promised (which is important when you have to outfit so many guards every year). Anyway, that is my experience, your mileage may vary.

Thank you very much guys. Actually, I needed a specific pair of pants that I am wearing at my wedding in Curacao on the 26th. Since it is a beach wedding, the apparel is rather casual-beachy type thing. They make these pants called “Granite Pants” that are exactly what I am looking for.
