College football Rivalry Weekend 2025

Egg Bowl surprisingly good

Does Lane stay or does he go?

I think he leaves. LSU and Florida are too high profile for him to pass up.

LSU is a shitshow where people already hate him and UF is a dumpster fire.

If Ole Miss can match the salary I’d say 33% chance he stays

Both of those schools give him a recruiting advantage. I don’t see him winning a national championship at Ole Miss. We will find out his choice tomorrow.

Well after attending the big Aggie comeback game, have been able to get some tickets to the Aggie Longhorn game. With allegiances to both teams, hoping for a great game.

NIL has changed the game…

Very true. I just saw ESPN reporting the Florida is no longer looking at Kiffin as a possible hire because they “sensed” he was interested in other options.

Arch Manning is not good at football probably because his line sucks

Ole Miss alum here. I think he’s gone. A few weeks ago I thought he was staying as he really did seem to want to be here long term. He can win 9-10 games here and make the playoffs every third year or so and the alums would be happy. The pressure at LSU will much higher. Money won’t be the factor. Ole Miss can cut as big a check as anyone. It comes down to does he think LSU gives him the best chance to win a championship (it probably does). I’ve heard the majority of his staff wants to stay. The way it’s played out has been a big disappointment. If I was AD and I knew he was leaving, I’d left him in Starkville.

That may be the longest run by a Manning in two generations

Down goes TAMU

Great game to watch. Super fortunate that the two games we got to attend this year was this rivalry game and the Aggie comeback 2 weeks ago. Great college games to attend, the energy ar both was awesome .

Agree.

BTW - It’s my dream to go to a game at Ole Miss and tailgate in The Grove.

How does head butting a ref not get you tossed from a game?

Seriously

I’m looking forward to the FSU vs UF game today to see who is the best in the state. Well, okay more like fourth best, maybe fifth.

I used to never miss an FSU game. Now it just doesn’t matter that much to me. I may tune in to the game, but will probably be working outside for at least the first half.

The headbutt and the bobbled ball crossing the end line while stepping out are both home field calls. If in the shoe, they go the other way.

Nope, they called TD. Michigan D still looks solid, and they are running the ball really well. That is a good recipe.

Gotta get into the endzone though.

hear me out. In the shoe, the first call goes to eject. If one goes with The bobbled ball TD call as a make up call, then in shoe, it goes the other way. Home field bias always plays. But yeah, good game it looks to be.
