Anyone know of any good cold weather cycling gloves? Froze my fingers (and arse) while cycling in Boulder Canyon late in the fall?
Looking for gloves that are completely wind-proof, even when wet.

pearl izumi cyclone gloves are nice, sugoi firewall is also good.
I have a couple pairs of Glacier Gloves and I love them for all things outdoor. They have and are continually developing cycling gloves.

I have no affiliation with glacier gloves, just like the products.

if your not worried about matching or looking good, i bought a pair of gortex camo hunting gloves on sale for 20 bucks,
very warm and not to thick and bulky.
Pearl Izumi Lobster Claws have worked very well for me.
Assos winter glove system!
pricey but worth it! good for autumn winter and spring!

I got some at Home Depot for about $10 that do the trick. Not stylish, but who cares!
I prefer mittens, as they keep my hands warm and I can still shift and brake fine. I use swix or toko XC ski mittens with a sort of waterproof construction. They are warmer than the lobster style gloves. Plus they annoy my more purist friends.
Check out Ironclad cold condition series, i like the water proof version

I have chronically cold hands and just started wearing the Craft Siberia glove: http://www.craft-usa.com/cra_shop_zoom.php?back=185&category=1&headline=men&area=shop&type=bbike&id=503&bcsex=m. I’ve ridden with them on both cold and wet days and they’ve worked great.
same question, kinda, who makes “real” winter cycling gloves? I mean gloves with gel inserts, just like the summer gloves. I have two pairs of winter gloves, Pearl Izumi and Zoot, but there’s no padding at all. They protect you well against cold wind and rain but I’m in pain after an hour on the bike. I tried “liner” gloves under summer gloves but my fingers still get cold. suggestions?
Now for under $30! Giordana WindTex. Easy, buy 'em directly from Hammer Nutrition. Mine have lasted three seasons so far. Windproof and seriously breathable; I never get sweaty hands. Nice rubber dots on palms for great grip and feel. I still wear them after two crashes that scraped a lot of the material away but with minimal thermal damage. They also protected my hands very well.
Warm down to 40 degrees F alone, but buy them a little bit big and you can put some lightweight Sugoi Wallaroo (Merino Wool) liner gloves underneath which combined will keep your hands warm down to 28 degrees F.

I’ve got the Pearl Izumi Lobster gloves.
They keep me almost too warm. If you’re in California, probably dont need anything this hot. Would make a good sub 20 degree glove though.
Craft Active Glove.
