Cold watermelon after run

How good/bad is wm for you? I can eat loads of it especially coming off a good run in the heat; for me it even beats chocolate milk! Here in TX we dont have good chocolate cows but some great watermelons!

Anything particular you recommend? I guess some recovery drink or PB sandwich would not hurt it. I downed pizza though.

Watermelons grow in a nice warm environment. Global warming hysteria will kill your beloved watermelons. Eat 'em while you’ve got 'em.

I do all of them: PBJ, choc milk, recovery drink (Clif vanilla).

If I were to have a monster chunk of cold watermelon, I might reach for some sliced turkey. Hmmm, I guess it’s kind of a time specific thing. I often do a long ride then come home at lunch time - so I’m thinking lunchy things when I’m thinking watermelon.

Yeah!!! I packed watermelon in a cooler to enjoy after a very hot ride a few summers ago. My friends and I couldn’t slurp it down fast enough…

My appetite never good after a hot run/ride, but cold fruit and smoothies seem to hit the spot.
