clincher disk with tubular front?
I was looking at the saddle angle.
i didn’t notice that but, that would probably cause the boys to go numb, quickly…

Belgian rider? There’s a few of them riding TT bikes like that. Helps rotate the pelvis forward, apparently.
This guy will go nowhere using that stack of spacers. Wait, he is faster than all and any of us. Nevermind.
Helps rotate the pelvis forward, apparently.
Do you know how it rotates the pelvis forward? Intuitively it seems like it would rotate the pelvis back, if anything. I know I’ve seen a lot of people with saddles tilted down (ie. the opposite of this picture) and I always assumed it was to help rotate the pelvis forward.

i know it’s not all that intuitive, especially if you’re looking at it from a ‘comfort’ aspect. best i can tell you is to try it out on a road bike and you’ll see that it can work. you’ll know for sure whether your pelvis is rolled forward or not - partly b/c it’s even less comfortable with the pelvis rolled back when your saddle is stabbing you in the crotch!

You mean besides the clincher disc wheel with Mavic stickers that is not made by Mavic? Or would oyu be referring to the framest seeing as it more than likely a Cyfac or CSK TT framset bearing the Willier logo? I like the fact that even though the saddle angle is a bit steep for a TT event, the saddle is also slid all the way back in the rails - most likely to meet UCI regs.
Is that a chainring stiffener of some sort or what’s the extra hardware on the FSA Mega-Exo crank?
Actually I think the large chain ring is simply a FSA 55 or 54 tooth Pro Road chain ring (I have that same chain ring on my crit bike)
with an FSA 46 or 44 tooth track chain ring - the kind with the carbon bonded to the alloy surface - on the inside.
That appears to me to be a tubular on a disk with an aluminium braking surface.
For the record, that really is a Wilier (and not a ‘Walser-esque’ version ).
What the hell is a Cyfac?
Just kidding, it’s my tri-bike. gotta love cyfacs.
definitly a Cyfac frame…gothica
.
Not a Gothika, check the tubing. It’s hard to believe, but it’s a Wilier.
The Gothika is nice, but I prefer the Tigre’
54/44?
"You mean besides the clincher disc wheel with Mavic stickers that is not made by Mavic? "
You people just kill me. That is most certainly a Mavic Comete disc, and tubular to boot. And the frame is a Wilier Crono Carbon. I swear the conspiracy theorists are trying to take over the world sometimes.
Al Gore invented this thing called the internet…it takes about 5 seconds to look something up…
You mean to tell me they make tubulars with aluminum braking tracks now?
Surely you’re joking, everyone knows tubular tires were invented to go on carbon rims. The real question is, when did Wilier buy Cyfac’s molds so they could make this bike themselves? For that matter, when did Giant purchase Walser’s molds so that they could claim Jan rode a real Giant?
Mavics road disc wheel has a alloy rim that is a tubular wheel
.
the bike Jan is riding is a giant made by Giant though it is modeled after the walsner that he rode in 04
.
as for the willier about 5 companys use the same vendor in china including la pierre and cyfac its the same mold for all of them
.
Sarcasm isn’t your strong suit, is it?
Cyfac are not made in china, it’s not a gothica or a tigre.
