Dear all, have you ever heard about the benefits of Conzyme q10 for athletes? How do I find more info about it? Have you ever used some suplement containing it?

10 years ago when coQ10 was " new", my coach was certain ( after seeing the released research) is was a great idea to supplement with it, and I tried it. i have been on it ever since, and really think it makes a difference.
I take it every day, in capsules, sometimes twice daily.

Wich brand or product are you using? The doctor said it is best if taken within a multi-vitamin supplemet arranged on those “farmácias de manipulação”. What’s your opinion?
I completely agree with the farmacia de manipulacao route.
If you are going that route, also try:
Arginine / ornitine ( 3 grams of Arg by 1.5 g of orn), taken nightly.
Selenium - forgot dose, do research
Germanium - used on some cancer patients, so use with care. ask your doc about dosage

if coQ10, around 30 mg will do the job. Some take as much as 100mg daily. i mix and match the dosage. Some days are 30, some are 90 mg days.

Some people will believe anything.
CoQ10 will not do anything for you, you’ll just get expensive piss.
Some people don’t believe in trying to achieve optimal health, which is only available through proper supplementation - they stay satisfied with “not being sick” which is the LCD goal of following guidelines like the US RDA.
