Coaching Business Name: seeking suggestions

So I dont really like using my initials as my business name and with anticipating even further good things to come I’d really like to give it a good name. Also, after having chatted with a few other high performance houses, partnerships come easier when the biz is named something other than yourself. Still looking for a good someone to possibly partner up with in this endeavour. So I can’t really offer much… maybe a plan consultation or something but I’d really like to ditch the initials and come up with something worthy of a high performance coaching program.

Thanks a bunch for any and all input!

can we start with changing your ‘coaching’ site so the background isn’t black with white letters?

it makes my eyes wig out!

you want a ‘name’ or a ‘logo’ or both

is it all tri related? (i tried reading your site, but my eyes were seriously hurting after just a minute, so i stopped)

All the combinations that involve the words “performance”, “system” and “triathlon” are taken, so you’re screwed there.

If you’re a serious professional, your name is your brand. You’re lucky that you have a non-forgetful name, so use it. And I mean “Mark van Akkeren”, not the douchy MarkyV.

+1. White on black is rarely a good option.

You answered your own question: “Good-things-to-come coaching”. It conveys dreamy optimism just like your blog title “Living High in Boulder CO”.

Do you have to make so much freeking sense so early in the day??? - i’ve only had one cup of coffee so far

Marky Mark Coaching sounds good.

Marky Mark Coaching sounds good.

if you’re a competing coach…

Marky Mark Coaching sounds good.

As you have already germinated a “brand” why not stick with it ?

MVR Coaching ( MVR from MarkyV Racing)

Pain Multisport. I like this a lot actually.

I hope this doesn’t come across as too dickish, but since you’re explicitly asking for business advice in an industry where communication is important, the next thing on your list after a sweet name should be the hiring of a copy editor to go over your website - the grammar is atrocious.

I might be wrong but Van Akkeren sounds Dutch so how about something Dutch that also sounds good in English? I believe the Dutch word for advantage is voordeel.

Mark’s Coaching Inc.

a-1 coaching

iCoach (people like mac stuff and its says that ‘you’ coach)

The “V” part you should stick with. Just use some other V word.

Ok, I’m done snickering about Vagina Performance Coaching… Sorry.

Victory? Veritas? Venga!

V3 Coaching - Veni, Vidi, Vici. I like this one.

V is for Vengeance, LLC.

in the words of niederlanders that meet me and start speaking dutch… the name is “very” dutch. And just cuz grandma was born here just after we arrived doesnt mean i speak it!!! Tho a few uncles do.

i thought living high had more to do with the recent legalization of MMJ facilities around town?

are you going to move home?
