So I dont really like using my initials as my business name and with anticipating even further good things to come I’d really like to give it a good name. Also, after having chatted with a few other high performance houses, partnerships come easier when the biz is named something other than yourself. Still looking for a good someone to possibly partner up with in this endeavour. So I can’t really offer much… maybe a plan consultation or something but I’d really like to ditch the initials and come up with something worthy of a high performance coaching program.
All the combinations that involve the words “performance”, “system” and “triathlon” are taken, so you’re screwed there.
If you’re a serious professional, your name is your brand. You’re lucky that you have a non-forgetful name, so use it. And I mean “Mark van Akkeren”, not the douchy MarkyV.
I hope this doesn’t come across as too dickish, but since you’re explicitly asking for business advice in an industry where communication is important, the next thing on your list after a sweet name should be the hiring of a copy editor to go over your website - the grammar is atrocious.
I might be wrong but Van Akkeren sounds Dutch so how about something Dutch that also sounds good in English? I believe the Dutch word for advantage is voordeel.
in the words of niederlanders that meet me and start speaking dutch… the name is “very” dutch. And just cuz grandma was born here just after we arrived doesnt mean i speak it!!! Tho a few uncles do.
