Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a nice pool for some lane swimming thats easy accessible from MGM Hotel on the strip? Anything within walking distance? or how far of a drive?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I swam at the Flamingo (I think it is right across the street from the MGM). Got there right when it opened, and had it to myself. Not sure about the length of the lanes, the pool has 3 or 4, but got a good workout.
The pool at the Bellagio is about the best thing going, the best that I can tell. There are no lanes and it is only 3-4 feet deep, but it is around 40 meters long as I recall. Get there early in the morning (before everyone rolls out of bed with their aching hangovers) and you should have a great time. Do a Google Earth search and you will get a better feel for the set-up there.
And if you are looking for a great run (albeit hot at this time of year), head out to Red Rock Canyon National Park. That place is flat-out the best.
Best of luck.

Whitney Ranch Pool or the Multi Gen Center in henderson. Both are very nice, and when I lived in Vegas I swam at both regularly. The Multi Gen pool is a really nice outdoor lap pool.

Best pool BY FAR (though it’s a hike) is the Henderson Multigen Aquatic Center. Beautiful outdoor 50m pool. Probably about 15-20min from the strip.

Search by US->Nevada->Henderson county. Looks like there are 3 good options, but all a decent hike from the strip.
Henderson multigenerational pool is tops … but you’ll need a ride from the strip.
The City Municipal Pool is near Fremont Street Experience.
You could also contact UNLV to see if you can purchase a day pass for the Student Rec Center:

UNLV is near the Hard Rock Cafe.
I was just there on the strip for 4 days, and I swam at the Paris hotel, not too far from where you are. They have one lane in the middle of the pool that is laned off with lane lines, and it felt like 40 to 45 yards long. Morning is best time, but even later on folks get the hint to get out of the lane once you go back and forth a few dozen times…
Thanks for all the suggestions! very much appreciated, I never knew the MGM had a lane pool for laps I’ll check it out for sure and if not probably go to henderon rec complex.
Thanks for all the help!!!
