Clif bar 30 days ala supersize me

I was thinking of doing the supersize me gimmick and eating Clif bars for 30 days.

any thoughts?

maybe if you elaborated with your hypothesis…

I thought it was already done by the founder of the company?

Gross. I used to love those things, then must have had a bad one before the Chattanooga Waterfront tri a few years ago. I ended up vomiting for hours, starting about a half hour before the swim. I threw up in the water, twice on the bike, and several times on the run. I still can’t eat a clif bar to this day. I get nauseous just thinking about them.

Too bad, cause they used to be good.

maybe if you elaborated with your hypothesis…

6 - 9 bars / day

spaced throughout the day to maximize the graze effect.

30 days.

maybe smooth move tea to keep things flowing.

but why…
what’s the purpose of this?
i love me some chocolate chip clif bars, but can’t imagine the point of only eating them.

Okay – that’s your plan, but what is your thought for the effect? Do you think that Clif bars are unhealthy and you’ll gain weight? Do you think that you’ll breakdown quickly or at a certain time frame without a certain nutrient/mineral/aa/protein/etc.? Do you think a Clif bar only diet will help place you in the best shape of your life?

I would hope to lose weight,

I think clif bar is a great product

I dunno what else i’m hoping to achieve
.

SOunds like a backdoor attempt at a sponsorship
.

its just food
theres cheaper food
.

You should make it “Clif Bar Products” Luna, Builder, blocks, etc.

I would very much like a pear apple strudel cliff bar but haven’t been able to find the seasonal ones around here :frowning:

Favorites… that, and then the chocolate brownie z bar.

Sounds like a recipe for constipation.

A writer for runner’s world or a similar magazine did this stunt about a year ago. He ate only energy/power/protein type bars for something like 2 weeks. I believe he felt horrible and suffered from constipation.

No offense, but this seems like a really bad idea.

I think someone in Runner’s World or one of those magazines tried that a few years ago. Eating only sport nutrition products for 30 days. Said they had to give up because they felt awful. I wouldn’t recommend it regardless

Chocolate Brownie Clif bars for me. Yum.

am munching on one of those right now. Almost as good as a no-bake cookie. A cliff bar is always my pre- AM workout snack.

I dunno what else i’m hoping to achieve

I love those bars - Cookies ‘n’ Cream are super yummy. But I can’t imagine eating 6-8 of them for 30 days straight!

Stop it TC, we can’t get Brownie flavour over here. It’s just crunchy PB, Cookies n’cream, back cherry almond or walnut and oats here for now. I have to buy a box of brownie flavour when I am in the US or canada!
