This is quite old news. Seems like tri would be a good application for it. Problem could be the proprietary cassette. And having to build a rear wheel around this hub.

Been around for a bit and they’ve already partnered with several wheel manufacturers: https://www.classified-cycling.cc/partners. Also, starting to see bike brands specifying the hub on some of their models.
Could be an interesting option for gravel, enabling smaller cassettes. I am curious as to its impact on drivetrain efficiency, though this won’t matter for most riders who might use this system.
Now, a tight ratio, internal rear hub with minimal drivetrain losses (better then Rohloff, for instance) would be compelling to me, especially if I could run a Gates belt, woiukd be very compelling to me for road use. For TTs, likely not so much.
