Dude…you are winding back the clock for me 20 years…I’m RMC class of 1988 and in Nov 1987, I had zero time, trying to catch up with Elec Eng courses that I was way behind on as I had squandered all my time partying, doing triathlon while doing the bare minimum in academic performance to ensure that I could at least get good grades come December…but unlike you, I actually for a brief period in 4th year had a girlfriend (who thankfully dumped me over the holidays…).
After that, I could contentrate on academics without distraction from women, which positioned me well to get into grad school…
…but I digress. We had no ST then to find us a date.
Ladies of ST, RMCboy is correct…the Xmas ball is awesome. This is a once in a lifetime event (in fact, I am convinced that my girlfriend of 20 years ago would have dumped me a month earlier, but she wanted to go to the Xmas ball…)

ps i was asleep on the weekend in my room. my roommate came home with some friends and a few random girls. one of the girls stripped off. the other girl went back to my roommates room with him (well i presume she did). and then his mate screwed the non stripping girl in the living room. i think it was on my couch. ~urgh~. the stripper girl was in the room at the same time. i got up at 7am to go for a swim. stripper girl was passed out on the couch with a blanket over her. my roommate thought she might have been naked underneath. i am wondering if stripper girl was involved with the other two. she had those big boots ie f me boots.
i was in bed as i had a swim, bike, run planned the next day/that day. i did all 3.
however that night i did not see a reasonably attractive girl strip nor did i sleep with a girl. i had a good training day though.
