Have a friend that works at the local “lab” and asked her about jellyfish. Her response below:
Good news on the jellyfish, they are totally gone. One of my friends does research on Jellyfish so this isn’t just my observation.
The weather has been cooler than usual the last week or so and that may be a reason why. I did the race last year in the midst of the tropical storm and unsurprisely the jelly fish were few and far between. If you are doing the race have a great time, Vigo and Tri Columbia really does put on a great low-key event.
yes, doing the race…due to a bad showing at IM Canada. It was a furnace and I melted! Hoping for better conditions and performance to end my season on a better note!
