"Cheese Plate" for added aerobar mounting options

I’m having trouble finding reasonably priced angled aerobar spacers that fit my Fast TT Trek SC mounting plate (38mm between mounting holes). I was searching for extender plates that would allow me to affix something like the Profile Design Aerobar Wedge and google showed me this…

Has anyone tried using one of these to increase mounting options on their aerobar setup?

I envision the setup being, Fast TT mounting plate :arrow_right: cheese plate :arrow_right: Profile Design Aerobar Wedge :arrow_right: Tririg Scoops Ultimate

How dumb/unsafe is this idea?

Thank you. I saw those and other options. Was mostly wondering if anyone had given this $10 solution a shot.

It could work, but none of the products state what Al is made of. All the holes are creating weak points.
