I’m still a little new to the whole triathlon gear thing, so I’ve been looking around for the best deals on clothing… all i want is a couple pairs of 8" tri shorts. i’m wearing underarmor for shirts, i dont like the pockets on the back of the cycling jerseys. any suggestions on that? help a poor college boy out

try baseball? i’m not sure i understand. if you are saying try the sport, i already have. Had a full ride to an university until i blew my arm out. whoops. Therefore i stick to the sports that dont require throwing objects.
Get onto Ebay and do a search.
Get onto yahoo.com, click on “shopping” and do a search.
I would suggest picking a specific brand to search for, rather than just buying “anybrand tri shorts.” To research the best brands, just search this forum. I have made the mistake of just ordering the cheapest tri top or shorts on Ebay, Anybrand, and ending up really unhappy with I got. Then I had to start over. You don’t save money that way.

You’ll get a million opinions on the best tri shorts out there, but I think you’ll find that a bunch of people on here, myself included, love the shorts from DeSoto. They usually have some clearance items on their website. As for shirts, some tri shirts have tight pockets on the side that may not bother you as much as traditional pockets on the back of a bike jersey. As for websites, there are a bunch…check around for clearance items from a previous years’ model. thanks guys. I’ll be sure and check out the desoto shorts. I know all about buying cheap and uncomfortable items, thats why i figured yall would kick in with the cheap AND comfortable suggestions. Thanks again!

Do a search, people start threads titled “Anyone know a discount code for Nashbar(or any other store)” all the time.
Look for a seller on Ebay named Hanulink (maybe two n’s – Hannulink). They sell lots of tri stuff and its awesome stuff.
I have left them lots of positive feedback after seeing them referred to on this site.
