Chariot Baby Jogger brand strollers

Does anyone know if this brand is good? I really don’t know anything about jogging strollers and someone I know is selling one for $75.

They seem to start at $400 so this looks like a good deal.

Are you referring to the jogger/trailer model? We had a single seat version for our son which I used a lot for both biking and running. Great quality and a great, stable trailer. As a jogger, it is definitely on the heavy side compared to dedicated running strollers, but it is fulling enclosed, so it keep my boy warm in the winter and dry when we were caught in a couple of storms. If it is in good shape, it sounds like a deal.

Oh, and there was a recall recently – a danger of the support arm breaking if the trailer flipped over, I believe. You might check on that.

For a realatively new one it is a great deal, and the are fantastice for biking, heavy for running but I like that the front wheel is locked on straight. The recall was on the bike attachement and they ship a free replacement part, if you are concerned, I flipped mine once and nothing happend to the trailer, my son or me so far, but then the wife still doesn’t know.

I am not sure. It says Chariot Baby Jogger with this picture.

That is the Chariot Cavalier. Jogging stroller only, not the trailer. The trailer you usually see is the Cougar model.

I’ve never used this model, but we had a Cougar for years. Chariot makes great stuff. Seems like a good deal for the money.

If you could find a BOB revolution, that’s what I prefer. It looks a lot like the chariot you posted, but the front wheel can be locked straight into position, or unlocked so it can swivel for better slow speed handling. Having said that $75 is a smokin deal.

Thanks guys, I am going to take a look at it this week. I haven’t done anything since my race in July and I think I need something to get me back out there.

I don’t want to sacrifice time with my kid to workout so I think that I really need a jogger.

Definitely test it out first. The fixed front wheel can be a deal breaker for some.

All the chariots we have up here are all removable front wheel - then you use the smaller “shopping cart” style wheels.

If you are jogging, the two little wheels pop out and clip back in upside down, and you put the front wheel or trailer or ski attahment or whatever on.
